Lincoln University Cooperative
Extension Program previously operated in St. Louis at the Martin
Luther King Center, located at 1437 Laurel Street. In
Summer/Fall of 2004, Lincoln re-opened their new Cooperative
Extension office named the Urban Impact Center of St. Louis located
in the North Riverfront/Baden neighborhood at 9041 Riverview Drive.
Our current mission is to collaborate with community leaders,
stakeholders, and partners to make a positive difference in the
lives of people, impacting one individual and one family at a time.
Our primary focus will be to increase the avenues of hope towards
creating a better future to those who will welcome our assistance to
metropolitan St. Louis and surrounding areas.
The St. Louis extension team is committed to the new challenges that
lie ahead including but not limited to initiating capable skills and
talents to boost affordable opportunities for people at-risk.
As change agents, Lincoln University staff will first, plan to
assess the needs of the community,
and then focus on enhancing individual and community empowerment by
cultivating trust and self-reliance via tools and resources to
improve humanity.
