In the 25 year history of Lincoln University Cooperative Extension, one goal continues to serve as the driving force for program development and implementation: reaching out to the unreached Missouri citizens.

"The mission of the 1890 Land Grant Extension System is to help diverse audiences with limited resources, improve their quality of life through the application of educational and research-based information focused on critical issues and needs."

Limited resource clients are our number one priority in Extension. From field staff to state specialists to administration, improving the standard of living for Lincoln University Cooperative Extension's target audiences remains the goal as programs are designed to disseminate research-based education and offer hands-on training to thousands of the neediest of the needy citizens throughout the State of Missouri.
